Time Wise: Harness the Powerful Habits and Productivity Secrets of the World's Most Successful People by Amantha Imber is a great compilation of the How Tos to optimise your time.

One of it is to master keyboard shortcuts. Not only does it save you the time to even think of where to click, it is also a very reliable way of automating with Power Automate Desktop.

In summary, find out the actions that you use with mouse often, make a list, find the keyboard shortcuts, aim to learn one each day for two weeks.

I'm going to compile my work in progress reference list that I find useful here (for Windows):

  1. Ctrl + Shift + Esc - Open the Task Manager immediately
  2. Windows Key + L  - Lock your PC
  3. Alt Tab - Switch between open apps
  4. Windows Key + D - Hide all windows and display a 'virtual' desktop
  5. Windows key + Shift + S - Screenshot a selected area on the screen.
  6. Windows key + E - Open the file explorer
  7. Alt + F4: Close the active window
